Dog hair woven into your car carpet that your vacuum just won't shift? This vacuum head pulls it out.
The Bend Brothers Pet Hair Carpet Vacuum Head is a carpet cleaning attachment with a rubber squeegee blade built into the front edge. As you pull the head across the carpet, the blade grips the embedded hair and lifts it out of the fibres. The suction opening sits right behind the blade, so the hair is sucked away in the same stroke. You don't need to brush the hair into a pile first and then vacuum it up.
It's designed for automotive carpet and carpet floor mats, where tight-loop fibres hold onto dog hair far harder than a standard vacuum nozzle can pull.
How to Use It
-
Fit it to your vacuum's wand or hose end (32 mm or 35 mm, see below).
-
Stroke the full length of the carpet in one direction, keeping the blade in contact with the carpet.
-
Repeat in the opposite direction. This lifts hair that's lying the other way.
- For heavily matted areas, go over them again with short, firm strokes.
Tip: do a quick pass with your normal nozzle first to clear loose dirt, sand and stones, then use this head to pull out the embedded hair.
Why It Works Better Than a Normal Nozzle
-
Lifts, not just sucks: the rubber blade drags embedded hair up out of the fibres, so suction can carry it away.
-
One tool, one stroke: unlike hand-held rubber pet hair brushes, there's no "brush it into a pile, then vacuum it" double handling.
-
145 mm wide head: covers far more carpet per pass than a crevice tool or a small nozzle, but still fits around seat bases and into footwells.
-
Flow-shaped body: a smooth transition from the hose to the wide head keeps air moving fast where the blade is working.
-
Replaceable blade: rubber wears over time on any pet hair tool. This blade simply slides out and a fresh one slides in, so the head itself lasts.
Will It Fit My Vacuum?
Made in two sizes: 32 mm (1¼") and 35 mm. It pushes straight onto your vacuum's wand or hose end. No adaptors needed.
30-second check: measure across the outside of your vacuum's wand or hose end.
About 32 mm → choose 32 mm. About 35 mm → choose 35 mm.

FAQs
What is the best way to get dog hair out of car carpet?
Embedded dog hair needs to be lifted out of the fibres before suction can remove it. A rubber blade does the lifting; this head combines that blade with vacuum suction, so you lift and remove the hair in the same stroke instead of brushing it up and vacuuming separately.
Does it work on cat hair and fluff?
We've tested it on dog hair. The blade works by gripping hair, so it should suit cat hair and fluff too. We'll update this page as we test more.
Will it work on house carpet and rugs?
It's built and tested for car carpet and carpet floor mats. We're still testing it on home carpets and rugs and will update this page with the results.
What happens when the blade wears?
Slide the old blade out and a new one in. Replacement blades (2-pack) fit both the 32 mm and 35 mm versions.
Which size do I need?
Measure the outside of your vacuum's wand or hose end: about 32 mm → 32 mm, about 35 mm → 35 mm. Use the table above, or email us a photo.
